JOB PURPOSE:
The mission of Leadership Development Center is to develop current and future leaders. The position is to help design, implement and
deliver different programs to support leadership and management development for different
levels so as to meet both current and future business development needs of China.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Leadership Development Programs
1) Design leadership programs by level using learner centric technology and compoents/resources available internally and externally
2) Produce framework, material and facilitate training workshops and TTT
3) Establish and sustain a network of core internal and external trainer resource and establish a system of quality control
and ongoing development of trainers
4) Design transversal projects that allow talents in cross functional teams to work on business critical issues
5) Leverage external consultants, universities where appropriate
6) Identify KPIs to track effectiveness of programs and ROI
Talent Engagement
1) Create and foster a feedback and coaching culture
2) Create a platform for networking among talents and engagement with senior leadership team/regional heads/HQ leadership
JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Minimum Qualifications: Degree in any discipline
Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Masters in HR related fields (not mandatory)
Experience & knowledge:
Minimum:
1) 10 years experience in learning and development (past 5 years significant in house experience in MNC in senior managerial position;
Minimum 3 years experience in consulting)
2) Hands-on experience in rolling out and designing systemic development programs
3) Well versed in adult learning and learner centric principles. Proven program design capabilities applying such principles.
Active experience in Individual Development Plan and driving learner applying learning on the job.
4) Insightful about and experience in developing/executing blended learning and/or e-learning programs
5) A proven track record of successful and consistent achievement in leadership at a senior management level in a complex organisation with
active experience of leadership development
6) A proven track record of working in and forging successful partnerships with a wide range of internal and external bodies to successfully
deliver results and driving change
Skills and competencies:
1) Fluent spoken and writen English and Mandarin
2) Project management, vendor management skills and ability to lead changes, solve problems
3) Solid training and facilitation skills, coaching skills. Business oriented
4) Communication and interpersonal skills
5) Able to put solid plans together and execute plans with a sense of urgency and on time
6) Able to work independently and collaboratively. Result and business oriented.
7) Track record of leading change, leading team and developing people
